It was created in the USSR in the 20-30s of the last century on the basis of the Japanese martial arts of judo and jiu-jitsu for training law enforcement officers. In 1966, sambo was recognized internationally as a form of applied and combat sports. The sport of combat sambo has become very popular lately. Our Sambo section for adults provides group and individual classes for men and women of any age. The training process includes:
At the end of the workout, exercises are performed to relieve tension and restore breathing.
- performing exercises aimed at improving physical fitness and warming up muscles;
- special exercises to develop strength, prepare the body for extreme loads and develop individual muscle groups. This workout routine includes stretching, cardio, and strength training using barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells;
- acrobatic exercises necessary to gain the ability to control your body when throwing and perform other techniques;
- practicing self-insurance methods that will teach you how to fall correctly, absorb the force of impact on the mats when falling and group;
- studying and practicing technical actions and techniques.
Sambo classes for adults, women and men are held in groups, but you can also practice individually with a personal trainer who will pay full attention to you. Sambo lessons for beginners are held separately from athletes who already have a certain level of training.
