From April 4 to 6, 2025, the Ukrainian Swimming Championship in the “Masters” category (50 m pool) was held in the city of Dnipr

From April 4 to 6, 2025, the Ukrainian Swimming Championship in the “Masters” category (50 m pool) was held in the city of Dnipro.

More than 200 athletes from different regions of Ukraine, representing all age groups, took part in the competition. The atmosphere of the championship was filled with drive, sports excitement and incredible strength of spirit.

More than 25 Ukrainian records were updated at the competition — and one of them belongs to our champion!

From the fitness club “5 Element” in the competition, coach Serhiy Kukshin (age group 45–49 years old) took part.

Serhiy demonstrated impressive form and incredible endurance, winning four distances at once:

50 m backstroke

100 m backstroke

200 m backstroke

50 m freestyle

A special pride was the victory in the 200 m backstroke, where Serhiy set a new Ukrainian record in his age category.
